Green Oats (no ham)

This one’s going to be a quickie.  I have a party to attend and will be leaving shortly.  We had a very busy day today.  Tomorrow will be slower and I’ll catch up with ya then.

I just had to share what I made for breakie today.

I give you…

Green Oats!

Here’s how I did it:

  1. Pureed a handful of spinach with 1/4 cup of water in the magic bullet.
  2. Added the liquefied spinach to my saucepan with 1/2 cup of almond milk and waited for it to simmah.P1020736
  3. Mashed my banana while I waited using my new Pampered Chef mix n’ chop.  Unfortch, my camera thought I was trying to take a pic of my hand.  It’s mashing that naner right up!P1020737
  4. Mixed in 1/2 cup of oats
  5. Mixed in my naner along with some cinnamon and vanilla.
  6. Plopped my green creation in a bowl and drizzled raw almond butter on top.

Nutritious and delicious!  I was so craving some Chobani for the top, but I was all out.

I wanted to share the mock-up I made for our annual Halloween party.  I’m a fan of send in the mail invitations in this day in age of evites and facebook invitations.  I’m old fashioned that way I guess.

Here it is…
