Party Girl

I was quite the party girl yesterday. Baby shower and luau. Needless to say, I was beat when we got home. Hubbers and I started to watch "Tropic Thunder," but by the time the clock struck 10:00, I was ready for bed and hubbers was snoozing on the floor. I read a little Jillian before bed to unwind. This book is taking a while to get through. It's dense with information for sure!

My eats were all over the map yesterday after breakfast. Everywhere from mimosas, croissants and fruit to mai tais and sweet and sour shrimp. I even tried some of my friend's famous pulled pork at the luau. I am so not a fan of pig, but I will tell you that her pulled pork (from the tiny spoonful I sampled) drenched in homemade bbq sauce was delish. Hubbers had two big plates. The pina colada cupcakes were a hit as well!

I ate some breakfast this morning, did some chores and then went out for an afternoon run. Guess who came home from the hospital yesterday?
My POLAR! I was so happy to have her home. What's even better is that her insurance (i.e. warranty) completely covered her stay. So mama didn't even have to cut a check! Thank you Polar people!

Here are the stats:
Distance: 4.01 miles (yes, I will claim the .01)
Time: 38:02
Avg. Pace: 9:28/mile
Max HR: 185
Avg. HR: 170
Calories: 422
Power Through Song (moment): I passed another runner today and he gave me a friendly wave! Love that.

I'm happy to see that the Nike+ iPod was pretty close for calorie count. Today's cal count was 398 on the pod. Not a huge difference. Likely due to hills.

Today's brekkie was another waffle sandwich with multi-grain waffles, almond butter and raspberry preserves.
Post run lunch:
Chobani peach Greek yogurt with Bear Naked Fit berry granola and veggies with hummus.
I cut up one carrot, half a cuke and half a yellow bell pepper.

Off to relax and enjoy my Sunday. Hope you're enjoying yours! :)

Dang abs! You are looking great! :) I love reading this blog sister. It honestly keeps me inspired when I want to slack off. I do think you are a tad more dedicated than me but I know there are some things I can change and I am loving your food ideas on here!
